Easy to load boat dock. Nice place to camp, fish and swim.

Absolutely love this place. Go every year for a week. Clean, friendly. Beautiful views. Kids playing. Sunset on a kayak. And Roger is the best.

Nice campground. It's a county run park but it rivals most state parks - and most of the facilities look pretty new (in 2015). All camping spaces are paved, with decks, nice fire rings, etc. Restrooms are pretty standard in the campground. Several really nice playgrounds for the kids.

Love this campground!! Roger is an awesome caretaker & his host family that runs the campground for him are awesome down to earth, straight up southern hospitality folks. They stay on top of the grounds being cleaned, bathrooms clean & stocked & even share some of their experiences there as well.

Only thing to be aware of is the steepness of the roads and some campsites. This campground is HILLY so many of the sites, the only flat space is the paved pad and the wood deck.

Caretaker was very nice. Beach area looks nice and has canoe's to rent, but we were here in April and it wasn't open for the season yet.

This LITTLE campground is a gem for us in Gordon County. It is so nice to be able to have a convenient place to camp so close to our home in Calhoun. We found the site and facilitate to be clean, but the bath house needed a little maintenance. But, when you're camping you are expecting a certain amount of roughing it.
